Plant and Equipment Safety Notes
The Asset Management System provides for unlimited space to include plant and equipment safety notes for each asset. The safety notes are then automatically printed with each system generated work order, which then safeguards the clients as it ensures that every employee is working within compliance regulations.
Safety and Work Permits
Mainguard Technologies have developed a unique safety and work permit system, providing for multiple permits to be generated automatically by the system, where required. These permits are printed as part of the work order set of documents and are customized to meet each client’s specific requirements.

Mainguard Technologies have developed a full Self Test Audit System. The system comprises of all the required audit elements for each area of responsibility. As the audit is conducted the system automatically colour codes the responses, so the client can monitor the status.

Reporting, Recording and Investigation of Incidents
Section 24 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act states that the employer or user of machinery should keep record and investigate all incidents in connection with the use of machinery where injuries or other incidents occur.
Mainguard Technologies have developed an Incident and Opportunity System, to meet the above requirements, whereby all incidents and opportunities are reported and registered. Responsible persons are identified and the system automatically emails all participants with their responsibility and time frame for completion with built in escalation facilities. All reports and graphs meet the required legal specifications for submission to the Health and Safety Department and can be further customised to meet each client’s specific requirements.
Companies can now track their injuries and accidents history and will be able to see trends relating to Theft and Breakages incidents.
Management Control Systems
Electronic Project Control - No more late projects
This application enables the client to design and plan projects efficiently and effectively. Built in alarms will notify the project manager where a task is overdue or falling behind schedule to facilitate corrective actions to be implemented. Project documentation, together with graphs and reports support the project manager to control and manage the project efficiently.
Electronic Document Control
The purpose of this application is to have a centralized database for all company documents. Built in security levels enable some users only to view and some users to view and change the documents. Sophisticated but simple retrieval and Revision control features are built into the design, with supporting custom designed reports and graphs.
Non- Conformance System
This system provides Electronic Project Control for reporting non-conformance conditions and situations, especially from Audit findings, whether it be ISO or SABS. The reported non conformances are converted in to tasks which are then assigned to specific employees. The objective being not only to remedy the non conformance but to ensure to ensure that the occurrence does not happen again. It can also be used as a Customer Related issue reporting tool for when a customer logs an issue with the company. Supporting customized management graphs and reports are included.
