Implementation Project
The implementation project is based on an agreed scope and time period, as the result of a site survey and health analysis.
The project will consist of an experienced systems engineering resource. A senior project manager would also be assigned to supervise the project. The project would be formally controlled through a project plan, with identified deliverables, objectives, responsibilities and time plans specified. The final scope would be agreed at the project kick off meeting and progress monitored with a weekly on site project meeting.
Mainguard Technologies will always try to complete projects earlier than agreed and will bring work offsite wherever possible to reduce unnecessary overhead costs and also to optimize utilization of resources on the project.

Project Methodology

  • The MPM (Mainguard Project Methodology) program that is utilised to control all our projects, is a unique 7 step programme to ensure the client value for Money
  • The MPM program is about customer satisfaction. We aim to have the clients company up and running with one of our APMS products in the shortest possible time.
  • Mainguard Technologies will remove the pain of implementation, allowing the client to free up its resources to do what they are employed to do.
  • Mainguard Technologies System Engineers are fully experienced with their product knowledge and our area of expertise is with Asset Performance Management Systems.
  • The MPM program will save the clients company time, effort and money.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Our SLA provides an essential tool to ensure the continued success of the implemented product and is also the tool to drive the ongoing Continual Improvement projects and efforts towards the ultimate goal of World Class maintenance. The SLA provides a basic agreement for ongoing support and service and in addition also includes the following:

        • Contracted hours of support and service
        • A Management Information System consisting of a full set of easy to use reports and graphs with drill down functionality
        • Basic KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)
        • Added Value System Modules
        • System audits and  reviews

The management reports and added value system modules can be customized within the scope of the SLA to suit your specific requirements. 
The added value modules are provided free with the SLA and are in addition to the standard modules within the APMS. They allow the client to expand the system to shop floor users easily, effectively and without incurring the cost of additional APMS seat licenses.

MT Remote Service will take total responsibility for the management, administration, operation and maintenance of the client Asset Maintenance Management system, in order to positively impact the organizations bottom line, by keeping plant operations running smoothly, productively and with as little disruption as possible, while saving long term maintenance costs.
Our Objective
To remove the major expense, pressure and hardship incurred in implementing and running a APMS, the skilled resources and the ‘ passion to drive’ .We will take total responsibility for all operational aspects of your APMS, by operating your system from our centrally based head office. We will set up your system, ensuring that all assets and schedules are in place, and will deliver all schedules and job cards required to ensure that correct maintenance takes place when it should. The MT Remote Service, as with the full on site system, provides our client with all the maintenance data and information in graphical and/ or report format, with expert advice available, to assist in the ongoing improvement of your maintenance
