Mainguard Technologies - The Company

Mainguard Technologies is a Kwazulu Natal based company and was established in 1993, as a provider of specialised engineering based software systems for Industry. The company expanded into project management and consultancy services in 2000 and started to recruit systems engineers to provide the necessary expertise for clients. The company today has an extensive employee base and for the last four years has established branch operations throughout South Africa. The company secured long term contracts for major blue chip organizations throughout Eastern Africa last year and we are currently in the process of setting up our African division, to further expand this work.
We offer a one stop solution for both Asset Maintenance Management and World Class Maintenance Methodologies, to the Industrial sector, in terms of product marketing, training, Implementation and Engineering related projects, product and technical support and a range of systems engineering based added value services.

Project Management and Continual Improvement
Although MT utilizes world leading software systems, our focus is not simply on marketing software systems. Our focus is on the actual and practical implementation of systems utilizing effective project management tools. The objective being to deliver to the client a functional easy to use working system of excellence, to meet their full requirements and needs, as speedily and as economically as possible.
Our commitment also does not end with the completion of the project. In many ways that is when the real project starts, as we prefer to establish an ongoing relationship with the client through the use of our Continual Improvement Program (CIP). Our CIP ensures that the client is not just a satisfied client on completion of the project but remains a satisfied client in the months to come.

Training
MT also contains a training division conducting product specific and generic engineering based courses for our clients in all our regional areas. Our training division has been established for many years and until recently has concentrated on Product specific training programs.
We are now proud to introduce an extensive range of soft skills training courses, to the corporate market on a local and international basis. We have also contracted experienced training resources to facilitate the running of these courses.
In addition to providing a facility to train client resources, we also market the courses for client’s to purchase and set up and run their own internal training program.
